I am writing to you to express my strong interest in the position of Housing Manager that has recently opened up at your company. I saw the advertisement in today’s job section of the Daily Echo. I have all of the necessary skills and qualifications that you require in your job description; therefore I would like to bring to your attention my CV and apply for this role.
Currently I am employed within a local council in Nottingham, doing a similar role; dealing with administration and benefits allocations. I feel the skills and knowledge that I have obtained throughout my employment to-date can be transferred to you and be of use in the future to maintain the excellent reputation that you have built.
I have strong communication skills, having to deal with people from different backgrounds and positions in life, this has enhanced my empathy and ability to deal with problems I am faced with even in the most high pressured of environments. Though I can use compassion, I still follow the correct procedures to make sure that the job is done properly, efficiently and fairly.
I can also bring to you excellent customer service and administration background and I am highly proficient with how the policies and benefits work. In my current role I interview and meet people to discuss their needs and what we can do to help them, followed by finding the best solution possible.
As part of my role I also understand that I will be required to visit properties and check against inventories, making notes of any damage and any repairs that will need to be carried out.
